MADRID - RESTAURANTE NaDo
NaDo Madrid June 2021 This restaurant opened in late 2020, and we visited in June 2021. It's not easy to find, as it is located underground in a cave-like setting. Chef Iván Domínguez, a native of A Coruña, has restaurants in both the city and Madrid. Both are called NaDo, which means " to swim in Galician, where his Atlantic haute cuisine originates. He is intensely interested in the so-called discarded fish from the Atlantic, and many of them appear on his menus. We had th

ANDALUCÍA - CÁDIZ - EL PUERTO DE SANT MARÍA - APONIENTE - VISIT 3
APONIENTE Three Michelin Stars A return visit to the Angel León restaurant (famous for its cuisine of the sea and only from the sea). After moving from its old location in the Centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria, the new, far more glamorous restaurant is just outside town, in what was once an old flour mill, initially built in 1815. A small river/stream flows under the current building, and the energy it generated for the mill was used to grind the wheat into flour. Situate

APONIENTE Two Michelin Stars Chef de Mar Ángel León Gonzales now has his third Michelin star in his ultra-modern restaurant, which he has recently moved into. LA COSMOPOLITA MALAGUEÑA Michelin Plate IIO This place is a great little spot just off the calle Granada in the centre of Málaga's old town. The decor is immaculate, with a traditional twist. You can have tapas at the bar or sit in the main restaurant. There is also an outside terrace for warm evenings. We returned one evening in January for a few late-night tapas at the bar, where we enjoyed Ensalada Rusa (Russian Salad) Bacalao (deep-fried cod) Albóndigas de cola d
