This restaurant is undoubtedly a great discovery for us in Benalmádena Pueblo. Chef Matteo Manzato mixes Italian and Malagueña cuisine to stunning effect in a carefully designed, atmospheric environment.

It has its own style, mixing great service, excellent food, and fine cuisine.

The presentation of every dish is an ultimate picture that everyone would love to share on Instagram.


We had the extremely reasonable tasting menu, un paseo por Ventiis menú degustación at €29.


To drink, we started with a Fresquito Vino de Tinaja 2020 from Ricardo de la Torre, Tinaja de Montilla-Moriles. Aan is an almost dry, sherry-like wine made from Pedro Ximenez grapes.

The meal started with,

With extra virgin olive oil from Alhaurín Málaga.

Sardina Malagueña con sabores venecianos (sardines from Málaga with a Venetian twist with onion sauce, raisin sauce and roasted pine nuts.

Next is the tartar de calamar (made from the body of the squid), which is the house special and a symbol of Italian-Malagueña cuisine offered by Matteo Manzato.

Then the sauce is added (made from the head and tentacles of the squid with tomato, pimenton and wine).

We had a red Italian wine, Loredan Gasparini Della Casa 20154, to go with the squid.

Ajo blanco entre Málaga y Génova (prawn, basil purée, Italian cheese in a cold white garlic and pine nut soup).

Croqueta de ossobuco a la Milanesa (ossobuco (which is from the skin of the cow) croqueta and a saffron bun.

Lasagna crujiente de chivo lechal Malagueño (fried lasagne pasta, Málaga goat, goat's cheese and watercress.

Tira de asado de ternera a la brasa (48-hour slow-cooked rib of beef at 45° with potatoes and sweet potato purée.

Tiramisu a mi manera (the dessert was a chocolate, coffee, hazelnut crumble with mascarpone cheese).

The result is a perfect mix of Venice and Málaga, and it works excellently in our opinion.

We ate inside, but there is also an outside terrace.

Service was very informative in explaining the mix of Venice and Málaga.
