ANDALUCÍA - SEVILLA - MARABUNDA FOOD
MARABUNDA FOOD

This is an excellent new bar, situated on a quiet street in the San Lorenzo area of Sevilla. There are tall stalls at the bar or tables and chairs opposite. You can see the food being prepared in the open kitchen. They have a short but well-executed tapas menu.
A must-try are, croquetas de pato.

Duck croquetas.

Brioche de carrilleras de cerdo, salsa barbacoa Japonesa, mayonesa de kimchi y pepino encurtido.

Brioche of slow-cooked pork cheeks, Japanese BBQ sauce, kimchi mayo, and pickled cucumber.

Presa Ibérica con calabaza en escabeche.

Presa Ibérica with pickled squash.

To drink, we had an excellent,

Luis Cañas Cair Selección La Aguilera 2019 D.O. Ribera del Duero

At this point, we made the mistake of going to a different bar, which, unfortunately, had poor food in comparison. Instead, we should have stayed and tried some more food here like,
Papas bravas
Alcachofa frita con queso payoyo (fried artichoke with payoyo cheese).
Boquerones en adobo (deep-fried marinated anchovies) Puerro asado con bechamel trufada y anchoas (roasted leek with truffled béchamel & anchovies).
Burrata con melocotones caramelizados (burrata with caramelised peaches).
The service was excellent, with good advice on the food and quality sherry and wines.
