LA COSMO Michelin Bib Gourmand

La Cosma is the younger sibling of Dani Carnero's La Cosmopolita. It has a more modern vibe and setting, but still serves big-flavoured Andalucian cooking without any gimmicks.

We enjoyed an excellent early dinner, sitting at the long bar looking into the open kitchen.

We started with some excellent bread.

Ostras (oysters)

La Gilda atún, tomate, piparra y anchoa (a new take on the Gilda, the iconic pintxo inspired by actress Rita Hayworth, with added sweet roast tomatoes and fatty tuna belly).

La Ensaladilla - patata rota, judía, merluza y su emulsión (a new take on the Russian salad with smashed potato, beans, hake and its emulsion).

Abanico con lácteo de pepinillos y espinacas (pork loin with pickles and spinach)

El entrecot con chips barbarroja (Entrecote steak with Barbarossa chips).

We had a pleasant bottle of Viñedos Verticales La Raspa Tinti 2022 (D.O. Sierras de Malaga).

For dessert, we had
Tatin de Pera a la candela (grilled pear tatin).

Flan de maíz con praliné de kikos (a light and creamy corn flan),

The service was very informative, fun and helpful.
