RESTAURANTE SONÁMBULO
A second review from our friend Bill Benham, on his brief visit to Cádiz.
This Restaurant is in a hidden spot with a beautiful interior. You will fall for the simplicity of the interior, featuring attractive retro and rustic details, along with plants and flowers that embellish the walls.

Their modern fusion cuisine combines traditional and exotic ingredients to create innovative dishes.

We had a fabulous night in this fantastic Restaurant with excellent service and incredible food.
For starters, we shared
Ensalada rusa (Russian salad)
ensalada de tomate (tomato salad)
Croquetas de carrillada (pork cheek croquettes)

Then, for the main course, we had a slab of Chuleton Vaca Asturiana (beef chop)

The stunning chuleton was cooked beautifully over coals and served quite rare and well seasoned. It was delicious and accompanied by Padrón peppers and potato chips.

We had three bottles of Muga Crianza 2021

This was another incredible gastronomy experience in Cádiz, and it was great value again.

Although we had meat that night, there were plenty of seafood and fish dishes available.

Manteca colorá (pimentón flavoured butter)
Alcachofas (artechokes)
Chicharrón (crispy pork belly)
Atún rojo (red tuna)
Carrillera de cerdo (pork cheeks)
Buñuelos de gallo (rooster fritters)
Pollo al wok (wok-style chicken)
Puntas de solomillo ibérico (Iberian sirloin tips)
Tarta de chocolate fundido (molten chocolate cake)
Merengue de limón (lemon meringue)
Also, gluten-free beer and bread are available.
