MARISQUERÍA FREIDURÍA SALVADOR Y LUCAS
We are still in the charming fishing village of Pedregalejo, and this time, we headed to Marisquería Freiduría Salvador y Lucas. This delightful restaurant sits on the road that runs parallel to the paseo and the beach, surrounded by many other eateries.

The food is spectacular, a real spectacle. Nothing, absolutely nothing, of what you order will be tasteless or past its best. They always use the correct frying oil (not always the case elsewhere) to highlight the taste of the fish. The fish will show very competent knife handling and will always be cooked to the correct point on the plancha.
During our visit, we indulged in several dishes that left us craving more.
Tomate, aguacate y atún (tomato, avocado, and tuna)

Coquinas con ajo, limón y vino blanco (small flat shell clams with garlic, lemon, and white wine)

Boquerones en vinagre (anchovies in olive oil vinegar)

Berenjena (deep fried aubergine)

Carabineros (large scarlet prawns)

4 for €87, so not cheap, as usual.

We also tried Rape a la plancha (grilled monkfish), which was absolutely divine.

The cheesecake was so good that I was distracted and forgot to take a picture!
The service at Marisquería Freiduría Salvador y Lucas is both informative and friendly. They are usually busy, so it’s best to reserve your table in advance. The restaurant features a terrace on the bustling main road, allowing you to enjoy your meal while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

If you find yourself in Pedregalejo, this restaurant is a must-visit. The quality of the food, combined with the friendly service, makes for a wonderful and unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking to try something new and exciting, you’ll leave satisfied.
