KIOSKO CALA LLENYA In 2025, we were asked about the status of the chiringuito in Cala Llenya. Previous social media reports had claimed that CBBC had taken it over, but fortunately, this was not the case. Both the Ayuntamiento de Santa Eulària des Riu and CBBC confirmed that the chiringuito remains independent. CHIRINGUITO CAN COLOMARET We took another trip from Sant Antoni to the beautiful beach at Cala Nova, located in the northern part of the island. EL BIGOTES The Fish Shack at Cala Mastella is also known as El Bigotes, which translates to “The Moustache” a nod to the proprietor’s distinctive whiskers. El Bigotes will be remembered for sitting at his table every lunchtime while enjoying a flagon of his favourite red wine with his fish and rice. Sadly, he passed away in 2025 at nearly 100 years old. CHIRINGUITO SA FERRADURA (EL PIRATA) To find this great little Kiosk and beach, turn left at the sign for the Hacienda Na Xamena Hotel and Spa on the way down to Port de Sant Miquel Road (before you reach the port).
