KIOSKO CALA LLENYA

In 2025, we were asked about the status of the chiringuito in Cala Llenya. Previous social media reports had claimed that CBBC had taken it over, but fortunately, this was not the case. Both the Ayuntamiento de Santa Eulària des Riu and CBBC confirmed that the chiringuito remains independent.

As a result, the charm of this beautiful family beach on the island’s east side is preserved for this season. The chiringuito is open again, featuring a new roof! You can enjoy a cold caña with your feet in the sand alongside a delicious snack.

A REVIEW FROM SEPTEMBER 2024

The Kiosko Cala Llenya is located on the beach of the same name on Ibiza's east coast, near the family resort of Es Cana.

It is a chiringuito/kiosk with a long tradition, existing since July 10, 1968. It still maintains the essence of a traditional beach bar, so you will not find flashy beach club vibes here.

The Kiosko has always been family-run. Vicente Marí Torres, now 97, and his 90-year-old wife, María Torres Guasch, still visit their home on the beach, which Vicente calls the Kiosko.

Their sons, José and Esteban (also known as Stefano), along with their grandchildren, Carlos and Andrea, now take care of the guests in a friendly and helpful manner. Many guests have been visiting for decades, according to Stefano, who speaks excellent English and German.

Bocadillo de lomo (pork loin) is recommended.

In the evenings, the atmosphere becomes romantic with candles on the tables, and the menu features grilled fish and meat dishes.

The gently sloping sandy beach is highly popular, especially among families.

Due to its disabled toilet and barrier-free access to the Kiosko and the water, this family beach is also very popular with individuals with disabilities.
