KIOSKO CALA LLENYA UPDATE JULY 2025 - THE BEACH BAR HAS REOPENED

We were asked recently about the status of the chiringuito in Cala Llenya. In previous reports on social media, it was claimed that CBBC had taken it over. Fortunately, there was nothing in that, after the Ayuntamiento de Santa Eulària des Riu and CBBC itself confirmed. So, the authenticity of this beautiful family beach on the east side of the island remains preserved for this season, at least, and the chiringuito is also open again, with a new roof! You can enjoy a cold caña with your feet in the sand and a delicious snack.

A REVIEW FROM SEPTEMBER 2024

The Kiosko Cala Llenya is on the beach of the same name on Ibiza's east coast, not far from the family resort of Es Cana.

It is a chiringuito/kiosk with a long tradition, having been there since July 10th 1968. It is still a very traditional beach bar, so you will not find flashy beach club vibes here.

The Kiosko has always been family-run since that time. Vicente Marí Torres, now 97, and his 90-year-old wife, María Torres Guasch, still come to their home on the beach, as Vicente refers to the Kiosko.

Their sons, José and Esteban (known as Stefano), and now, along with their grandchildren, Carlos and Andrea, and other workers, look after the guests in a friendly and helpful manner. Many have been coming for decades, says Stefano, who speaks excellent English and German.

On the menu, you will find,

Bocadillos (from €5)

Salads (€10)

Pizzas (€8)

Bocadillo de lomo (pork loin) is recommended.

There is also a menu of grilled fish and meat dishes. It is nice to come in the evenings, when it gets romantic with candles on the tables.

The fine, gently sloping sandy beach is not only very popular with families.

Because it has a disabled toilet and barrier-free access to the Kiosko and the water, this fabulous family beach is also very popular with people with disabilities.
