IBIZA - SANT ANTONI DE PORTMANY - CALA GRACIÓ - POMELO PLAYA (EX SA BRESCA)
RESTAURANT POMELO PLAYA (ex Sa Bresca) UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2025 The chiringuito on Cala Gracio has only opened this year. The beds are reasonable, the service is good, but since Mambo Group owns it, the prices are incredibly overpriced. It is now called Pomelo Playa. They charge €6 for a small beer (0.3 litres) and €8 for a large beer (0.5 litres). The cheapest bottle of wine is €45; the Tomato Salad is €26; the Beach Burger is €32; and the Corvina is €40. FORMENTERA - PLATJA DE MIGJORN - RESTAURANTE PELAYO
RESTAURANTE PELAYO This is the perfect spot for a Sunday lunch with friends and family. It is a rustic, unpretentious beachside bar and Restaurant built in the true soul and spirit of Formentera. Good food is served in a lovely location on the beach, with mostly locals and a few tourists, in a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere. They serve delicious fish, octopus, and other seafood, but on Sunday, everyone goes for the Paella, which has an insane quantity of seafood! Turn off at

IBIZA - SES SALINAS - CAN SALINAS MANUEL EL REY DE LA FIDEUÀ
CAN SALINAS MANUEL EL REY DE LA FIDEUÀ To find this restaurant, head past the church on the way to Ses Salinas. It is on the left, just before the turnoff to Platja des Cavallet, just before Salinas Beach. This family-run restaurant serves excellent Valencian-style paella and fideuà away from the busy summer crowds of Ibiza. Fideuà is a dialectal pronunciation of the Valencian or Catalan word fideuada (which means a large number of noodles). It is a seafood dish originally fr

IBIZA - ES CUBELLS - CHIRINGUITO SES BOQUES
CHIRINGUITO SES BOQUES This rustic and authentic chiringuito has been located at the end of a long, steep road down from Es Cubells since the 1970s. It is set among pine trees and offers a full view of a small pebble beach. To reach the restaurant, take the road on the left before you reach Es Cubells church. Around a mile or so later, you will see it signposted on the left on the cliff road going down the hill. After a steep slope, you will reach the restaurant next to the s

IBIZA - CALA TALAMANCA - THE FISH SHACK
THE FISH SHACK @ TALAMANCA Also known as Chiringuito Sa Punta, a tiny shack on the rocks perched delicately at the sea's edge at the very end of Talamanca beach, this is hard to find, as there are no signposts or a roof. This is one spot you don't often read about, making it all the more special. Head for the restaurant Sa Punta in Talamanca, and when you reach it, keep going past the rocks. Soon, you will see the tangle of umbrella canopies, wooden tables and plastic chairs.

IBIZA - SANT CARLES - EL BIGOTES
EL BIGOTES Known as "The Fish Shack at Cala Mastella" or El Bigotes (The Moustache), this refers to the proprietor's whiskers!) El Bigotes still sits at his table for lunch whilst devouring a flagon of red wine. Unfortunately, he is 96 years old and does not come to the restaurant much anymore. There are two sittings, noon for fried fish (€25pp) or 2 pm for Bullit de Peix (€34pp). For the Bullit de Peix, everyone must have arrived at this stunning little bay for the 2 pm sit

IBIZA - SANT CARLES - KIOSKU CALA MASTELLA
KIOSKU CALA MASTELLA This beach bar on the island's northeast is a local insider tip among Ibiza's chiringuito lovers. It is sometimes unfavourably compared to the legendary fish restaurant El Bigotes, which sits to the left in the same bay. This is entirely unjustified, although it works on a different concept. Pepe Bonet and Angel Pins have created a true oasis of calm here and created honest, perfectly prepared food. They have six dishes (fresh fish, of course, hamburgers,

Walking down the 50 or so steps to the beach, you will wonder at this wonderful little oasis. On your left will be the pretty little beach, which, although it has typical Ibicencan naturist roots, Is also

IBIZA - CALA NOVA - CHIRINGUITO CAN COLOMARET
CHIRINGUITO CAN COLOMARET We took another trip from Sant Antoni to the lovely beach at Cala Nova, north of the Island. There are a few expensive, trendy restaurants here. The stunning Hotel Bless, at one end of the beach, has a one-Michelin-starred restaurant. We decided to go to the opposite end of the beach, to Chiringuito Can Colomaret. This traditional, tiny Cala Nova shack has served the local community with freshly caught fish and seafood for over 20 years. The family-r
