HOTEL MiM IBIZA ES VIVÉ́

Fresh from a reasonably recent overhaul, in quiet Figueretes, about a mile from Eivissa (Ibiza town),

This uber-chic Miami-style art deco hotel is an excellent destination for Balearic chilling.

All rooms and suites had an upgrade.

With a series of pool parties and fashion events in a high season packed with sexy bikini-clad dance divas recovering on white sun lounges from the previous day/night excesses, please be aware this hotel is an over-18s-only fun place and is categorically not family-oriented.

The Sky Bar rooftop terrace overlooks the UNESCO World Heritage-listed site Dalt Vila (the old walled town of Ibiza) and Ibiza’s neighbouring Pityusic Island, Formentera. It has become an attraction in its own right, famed for being Ibiza’s first prosecco bar. It is also a spot to quietly sunbathe and maybe sip one of the bar’s aperitifs.

It is open from 5.30.

Various Ibiza Fashion shows have taken place at Es Vivé, showcasing an eclectic array of Ibizan and international designers.

You can listen to chilled vibes and relax on the Sky Bar rooftop terrace.

The soundproofed, lively night cocktail bar still caters to the clubbing crowd without disturbing other guests. However, this redesigned bar is now smaller due to the new yoga room. Although it no longer has the same wild reputation, it still provides late-night refreshments!

A full English or healthier breakfast is served until 11 am for late-night revellers.

The pool bar then serves excellent Mediterranean food (or even their take on fish & chips) and drinks from the friendly and helpful staff all day. Chilled music around the pool starts slowly at noon.

And drinks all day from the friendly staff.

Great milkshakes and cocktails are available around the pool area. The Spa offers other services, including massages, facials, tanning, waxing, and yoga classes.

The girls at the main reception are excellent. They can help you book restaurants or VIP tables at various clubs or provide other recommendations you may need during your stay.

It’s the personal touches, though, that make Es Vivé unbeatable. It is renowned for its regular returning clients, who often arrive for a gift, such as champagne, the newest Es Vivé compilation CD, or a surprise room upgrade.

The hotel is only 2 minutes from the beach at Figueretas and a 15-minute walk to Platja d’en Bossa, where you can find bars and beach clubs like Ushuaïa and the Super Club Hï Ibiza.
