IBIZA - SANT JOSEP - RESTAURANTE ES CUCÓ FOR CHICKEN
RESTAURANTE ES CUCÓ

This restaurant is located on the outskirts of Cala de Bou, moving inland. It is an excellent place to stop for a drink or some reasonably priced food.

It is famous for its pollo al ast (traditional rotisserie style, split-roast chicken) with black pepper sauce.

Served with chips and salad.

We started with a warm goat’s cheese salad.

It is a great, cheap meal. The chicken costs €11.50 without sauce and €14 with sauce.

In addition to the chicken, you will find boquerones (anchovies in oil with garlic and vinegar), calamare (squid), pulpo (octopus), and lamb chops.
For dessert, we had a chocolate tart.

Crema Catalan.

The restaurant features a hidden back balcony or terrace that is not visible from the road.

You will find an excellent spot to watch the stunning sunset over the countryside and the sea.

The balcony tables at the front are perfect for enjoying a beer while peacefully watching the world go by.

The staff members are very friendly and work long hours, and always seem smiley and happy.

They have a supermarket next door with delicious meat, fish, and vegetable counters.
