RESTAURANTE ES CUCÓ

This restaurant is on the outskirts of Cala de Bou, moving inland. It is a great place to stop for a drink or for some affordable food.

It is famous for its spit-roast chicken (with black pepper sauce).

Served with chips and salad.

We started with a warm goat's cheese salad.

It is a great, cheap meal. The chicken costs €11.50 without sauce and €14 with sauce. 

Along with the chicken, you will find boquerones (anchovies in oil, garlic, and vinegar), calamare (squid), pulpo (octopus), and lamb chops.

For dessert, we had a chocolate tart.

Crema Catalan.

The restaurant has a secret back balcony/terrace, which is not visible from the road.

You will find a great spot to watch the impressive sunset over the countryside to the sea.

The balcony tables at the front of the establishment are great for chilling with a beer and watching the world go by in peace.

The staff are very friendly and work hard long hours, remaining happy throughout.

They have a supermarket next door with delicious meat and fish counters.
