I wanted to explore the traditional café bars in Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio) to find out the current cost of a basic traditional breakfast. These establishments are primarily popular with locals, along with a few tourists. We ordered the same food and drinks at each location for comparison.

An authentic café in a cosy environment with a friendly owner. Spectacular breakfast sandwiches featuring high-quality cold cuts and freshly toasted bread, accompanied by great coffee. Recommended for those staying in Sant Antoni.

Authentic Ibicencan spot, mainly popular with locals, offering excellent tapas alongside a great Estrella at very fair prices. A good place for breakfast with quality coffee. Generous portions and reasonable prices.

This is a spectacular place known for its enormous sandwiches and fantastic service. You can really tell that everything is made with love, and it offers excellent value for money. The prices are very affordable considering what they provide.

Additionally, they offer gluten-free bread, making it a great option for everyone.

An unassuming establishment with an excellent kitchen, frequented by workers, locals, and tourists who discover it. Ideal for breakfast and lunch.

Its exceptional customer service and great value for money make it special. The convenient location near the bus station and year-round availability make it an ideal choice for residents and tourists alike, seeking affordable options.

I had an additional, sometimes you need it! carajillo (coffee with brandy) for an extra €2.50.

Breakfast €6.70. This is the cheapest and probably my favourite.

A charming neighbourhood bar that serves breakfast and tasty tostadas. The portion sizes are quite large, and the atmosphere is excellent, with a great vibe among the locals.
