LA CEPA DE CÁDIZ

This is a great local bar where you can drink beer, wine, or Manzanilla, accompanied by chicharrones, cheeses, and other products from the Sierra de Cádiz, cold cuts from Extremadura, and a large assortment of tinned preserves.

It is a place with a lot of charm, a little piece of Cádiz in Málaga for gaditanos.

We settled in and had,
Anchoa y leche condensada (tinned anchovy and condensed milk).

Chicharrones (Pork belly with spices such as paprika, oregano, and garlic.)

Once cooked and cooled, they are cut into thin slices, and lemon juice and sea salt are added.
All washed down with a copa of Manzanilla.

Paté de Cabracho

Scorpion Fish Paté.

Marqués de Murrieta 2019 vino tinto.

Queso payoyo curado (goat milk cheese).

Also available are:
Jamón Ibérico de Bellota
Chorizo ibérico (Iberian chorizo)

Mejillones picantes (spicy mussels)
Paté de mojama air-dried tuna paté)
Butifarra (sausage)
Choco croquetas (cuttlefish croquettes)
The staff are friendly and attentive, and all the food and drinks are reasonably priced.

This great little tapas bar always has a jovial spirit and atmosphere.
