This excellent little restaurant is hidden up a side street off the main promenade in Mojácar Playa, near the Europcar car rental.

Upon entering, you arrive in the bar and restaurant area.

When the weather is excellent,

you can eat outside in the lovely

enclosed garden area.

On this pleasant summer evening, we had

Mini gazpachos.

Carpaccio de presa Ibérica (presa is a cut of meat from the shoulder of the Iberico pig).

Carpaccio de atún (tuna).

Pimientos (roasted peppers)

Gambas a pil-pil (prawns with garlic and chilli).

Rodaballo plancha (turbot)

Solomillo de buey (sirloin steak).

Paletilla de cabrito (roast shoulder of goat).

Desserts

Chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Raspberry crumble.

To drink, we had a bottle of Muga 2011 and a vin dulce to round off the meal.

Maria and her staff were attentive and engaged with us throughout our time there. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. This is a hidden gem in Mojácar. There are also a few rooms.
