HOTEL CASA DE LAS CUATRO TORRES
Cádiz is a city and port in south-west Spain. It is the capital of the province of Cádiz, one of eight that make up the autonomous community of Andalusia.

The city is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in western Europe. Despite its unique site, on a narrow slice of land surrounded by the sea‚ Cádiz is, in most respects, a typically Andalusian city with a wealth of attractive vistas and well-preserved historical landmarks.

The older part of Cádiz, within the remnants of the city walls, is commonly known as the Casco Antiguo.

This excellent hotel is in a fantastic spot in the centre of Cádiz’s old town.

The hotel is a beautiful hidden gem, a perfect mix of old and new.

The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, yet they still respect the building’s essence, with its stone walls, pretty ceilings, and traditional wooden beams. They have large beds, a fantastic bathroom, a lovely shower, and a functional kitchenette.

Everything in this historical house is authentic, but the warm service is the best. You feel like guests in a family home, not like business travellers or tourists in a hotel.

The excellent staff go out of their way to help you, which is always a plus. The friendly owner, who has a Scottish background, told us stories of her trips to Scotland.
There is no restaurant, swimming pool, or other unique amenities, which is why it is just a 2-star hotel. However, the rooms and service are 4-star-plus, including an excellent breakfast.

The Torre (tower) and rooftop terrace are beautiful and sun traps, even in February, when we were there. Although it does not have a business facility, it is perfect for a small meeting with a few people and has a great view of Cádiz and the sea.

There is an excellent café/bar just across the road from the hotel.
