RESTAURANTE CA'S PAGES

This is one of the most historic restaurants in the north of Ibiza. It is run by two sisters, Carmen and Lucia, whose family started offering traditional Ibiçencan cooking in 1972.

It is located in the family home's basement and in the shaded, planted back garden.

The outdoor, partly covered seating is beautiful, full of green plants and subtle lighting. If you come early, you will have a wide range of seating options. You will find either a large, extended-family table or a romantic, small table in one of the hidden corners.

On colder days, you can find a cosy spot inside the Restaurant, which has a great log fire in the off-season.
The food concept is simple: You order whatever you want grilled, and it will be freshly cut and prepared in front of you. If you like, you can even walk up to the grill master and pick out your steak, lamb, rabbit, or whatever you would like cooked on the open grill. Then, you will be accompanied by the very best Ibiçencan side dishes.

Start with ensalada payes (house Ibiçencan salad)
Grilled kebabs of sobrasada (spicy Ibiçencan sausage) & morcilla (black pudding)

Pimientos asado (roasted peppers)

Then enjoy the star of Ca's Pages, the charcoal BBQ, and the juicy grilled steaks.
T-bone

Fillet

Lento asado de Padilla de Cordero (slow-roasted shoulder of lamb)

Pollo (chicken) Lomo de cerdo (pork tenderloin)
Conejo (rabbit)

You could also try the famous local dish sofrit pagés (casserole of meat and potatoes).

Do not miss the mashed potatoes with peppers or hand-cut chips as side dishes.
Like many restaurants in the island's rural area, they have their own recipe for aioli and hierbas (local liqueur).

For dessert, try the famous local dish, Flaó, a cheesecake with mint.

Crema Catalana

It's a good mixture of people (locals and a few tourists), but not one for veggies. Come with the whole family and friends, or for a romantic dinner, you won't be disappointed.

There are no reservations, so arrive before 9.30 pm (early for Ibiza) to ensure a table.
Also, make sure you have cash; no credit cards are accepted.
Closed Tuesday.
