CHIRINGUITO SA TRINXA

UPDATE JULY 2025

From July 1, 2025, Chiringuitos on Ses Salinas beach are no longer permitted to have DJs playing. CDs and background music are allowed. Due to regulations of the Ses Salines Natural Park, Chiringuito Sa Trinxa has been forced to suspend DJ performances.

We have been here many times before and will return in 2026

This is the place for people-watching.

On arrival at the ses Salinas beach, turn left and keep walking until you reach the green palm branch-topped Chiringuito Sa Trinxa.

This buzzy beach restaurant attracts Ibiza's most beautiful, often in their butt-naked glory.

With sounds by Balearic chill-out legend Jon Sa Trinxa (who has just returned from Thailand but may not be there much longer).

Also, many other top DJs will play at various times. It's the perfect place for a jug of sangria and a dance in the sand, while a smattering of fashion nudists (it's all about the piercings) make for a slightly adults-only atmosphere, although there are plenty of children around.

Food is good beach fare, but the music and atmosphere are the main things you come here for. We had gambas a la plancha (grilled prawns).

Sardinas a la plancha (grilled sardines).

Octopus carpaccio (carpaccio de pulpo).

Merluza en salsa verde con mejillones (hake in green sauce with mussels).

Atún a la parrilla (grilled tuna).

Raspberry and lemon sorbets.

But you must be open-minded. People can dance almost nude at your side on the beach or in a chair in the Restaurant, and you will be kindly invited to leave if you attempt to raise any concern. It's not a crazy party spot, but a place with a carefree, friendly atmosphere.

As the sun sets, the sounds are pumped up a little with live performances by saxophonists or violinists, and everyone will be dancing in the sand.

If it gets too hot for you, take the famous green walkway and plunge into the blue Mediterranean sea.

Even in busy times, you can always find a quiet spot.

In the past, you would often see members of famous nightclubs, like Pacha, advertising their evenings.

Stay until the sun sets.

There is also an excellent beach shop for all your boho hippy needs.
