EL TIBURÓN

El Tiburón (The Shark) is the perfect feet in the sand beach restaurant, set right on the beach at Es Cavall d'en Borrás, Es Pujols. It is set in the Parque Natural de Ses Salines, a ten minute taxi ride from the port of La Savina.

It has a very laid laid back atmosphere serving excellent food and drinks with chill out music in the back ground and good service from friendly staff who tend to be there each year.

Try the "house special" gambas Tiburón picante con arroz (chili prawns with boiled rice).

Chuletas de cordero a la plancha (grilled lamb cutlets). Portions are large, as you can see from the eight cutlets here!

Plus excellent desserts

As expected for Formentera, the restaurant is not cheap but has a well priced and excellent wine and cocktail list with a Mojito at €15. Most mains are around €25

Everyone seems to arrive on boats or yachts which are moored in the bay and get the courtesy boat which brings you to the shore and restaurant.

This must also be one of the best places to enjoy the sunset in Formentera, looking across to ibiza in a very chic, relaxed vibe. (Photo @PepLahozPhotography)
