A visit to this restaurant in Marbella in November 2020
To start, we had,
Michel Arnould Brut Reserve Grand Cru, Pinot Noir, Champagne.
Tartar du Atún de Almadraba con trufa de invierno
Almadraba tuna tartar with winter truffle.
Huevo de campo a baja temperature con trufa de invierno
Field egg, cooked at low temperature with winter truffle.
Lubina con sémola tibia y bearnesa de mejillones
Seabass with warm semola and mussel béarnaise.
Confit de pato con patatas fondant y salas de trufa
Confit of duck with fondant potatoes and truffle sauce.
Side dishes were,
Puré de patata y trufa
Potato truffle purée.
Ensalada de espinacas frescas con pera y queso de cabra tibio gratinada
Fresh spinach salad with pear and warm gratined goats cheese.
The wines we had this evening were,
Paralléle 45 Maison Jaboulet 2018, Grenache, Syrah , Cote du Rhone.
Enate 234 2019, Chardonnay, Somontano.
This, all in an elegant atmosphere with impeccable service and food, from chef, Juanlu Fernández.
The Meal for 2 was €160. The price is acceptable considering the location. The restaurant has a large pleasant room, with a garden. There is also a roof terrace, that shares the same environment, as it is only separated by a large window that opens up completely.
