ANDALUCÍA - MÁLAGA - MARBELLA FUSIÓN

RESTAURANTE MARBELLA FUSIÓN BY CARLOS PIÑERO

PERMANENTLY CLOSED APRIL 2024

Walking through the beautiful old town of Marbella you find yourselves in one of its beautiful squares, Plaza de Altamirano. Here, you will find the Marbella Fusión restaurant, located in a historic building where you can also find a nine-room boutique hotel.

The restaurant is run by the renowned tuna chef Carlos Piñero. He has created a concept where the technique and precision of haute cuisine blend together with fun and surprise on the plate.

The restaurant has a terrace, which is beautiful and peaceful with unobtrusive background music.

Inside it has wonderful stone walls from the Marbella castle and Roman columns.

The food is the simplicity of good taste, with each product treated with knowledge.

On this occasion, as a starter, we had,

Alcachofas a la trufa (truffled artichokes) and an assortment of delicious croquetas

Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico (ham croquettes)

Croquetas de rabo de toro (oxtail croquettes) Croquetas de morcilla y manzana (black pudding and apple croquettes)

Followed by brioche con carne de cangrejo (crabmeat brioche).

Vieira Japonesa (Japanese style scallops).

Tataki de atún con léche de coco (tuna takaki with coconut milk).

Tomatejo.

The wine was a bottle of “Ultimate” rosé of Provence. Considering everything we ordered and mostly the quality of the food, the beautiful way each dish was presented, and the very pleasant service, I thought it was absolutely worth the price.
