The dining room of this spacious and elegant restaurant is located in what was once a antiguo casco de bodega (sherry winery/celler) It was transformed into a fabulous restaurant where the aim was to showcase the local food of Jerez de la Frontera and the rest of Spain along side the local sherry wines.
In this old bodega light penetrates the room through the spartans that cover the windows, letting in the Jerezana breeze, especially on days of sunset, maintaining the optimum temperature of their wines.
The room is set on the original floor where the sherry foremen once tasted the sherry wines of Jerez under a large roof of wooden beams. A circular fireplace presides over the center of La Carboná giving a warm and cosy atmosphere to the restaurant.
